HAVAGOODEN CHEONGDAM (2025)

TEAMVIRALS designed HAVAGOODEN's second space, ‘HAVAGOODEN CHEONGDAM’. We aimed for this space to expand beyond its role as the brand's showroom, starting with the Hannam location as the first space, into a platform where diverse offline projects such as exhibitions and sessions unfold. The vertically extended spatial structure and level changes create distinct scenes within a single large space, enabling a flexible spatial configuration where diverse exhibitions and programs can coexist.

Furniture was arranged considering the structural characteristics of the existing building and appropriate spatial relationships with customer flow. The layout, reminiscent of real living environments such as dining and lounge areas, allows visitors to clearly envision how the furniture would function in everyday life. 

The existing structure, which forms gradual level changes as one moves deeper inside, was divided into three distinct layers, allowing each level to naturally transition into a different scene and furniture ambiance. Each level transitions naturally into a different scene and furniture ambiance, creating a cohesive yet varied spatial experience. The overall flow evokes the feeling of walking through a home, quietly encountering moments of daily life.

기존 건물이 지닌 구조적 특성과 고객 동선에 적절한 거리감을 고려하여 가구를 배치하였습니다. 다이닝과 라운지 존 등 실제 생활 공간을 연상시키는 구성은 방문자가 일상 속에서 사용되는 가구의 모습을 보다 구체적으로 상상할 수 있도록 합니다. 

내부로 들어갈수록 단차가 형성되는 기존 구조를 세 개의 레이어로 구분하여, 각 레벨마다 서로 다른 장면과 가구의 분위기가 자연스럽게 이어지도록 계획하였습니다. 이러한 공간의 흐름은 마치 집 안을 거닐듯, 생활의 한 장면을 차분히 마주하는 경험을 제공합니다.

By controlling excessive elements and composing the space with quiet, comfortable materials, an environment is created where one can fully focus on the furniture. This environment guides the customer's gaze and experience to dwell on the furniture during their stay, completing an atmosphere suited to the showroom within that flow.

This space originates from the philosophy of HAVAGOODEN, a furniture brand that designs by focusing on essence, eliminating unnecessary elements, and prioritizing a user-centered approach.

과도한 요소를 제어하고, 조용하고 편안한 소재로 구성된 공간은 가구에 온전히 집중될 수 있는 환경을 만듭니다. 이러한 환경은 고객이 머무는 동안 시선과 경험이 가구에 머물도록 이끌고, 그 흐름 속에서 쇼룸에 적합한 분위기를 완성합니다.

이 공간은 본질에 집중하고 불필요한 요소를 덜어내며 사용자 중심의 철학을 바탕으로 디자인하는 가구 브랜드 HAVAGOODEN의 태도에서 출발합니다.
